Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) received a Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. The album peaked at the rank of eighteen on the Top Latin Albums charts. In the following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca which reached number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. Mala Influencia was which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and her Dopamina album in the same year. Later in 2021 he performed the duet for TINI's smash streaming track Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a music-oriented environment because both his mother and younger brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo stated that music is a must. While a youngster, was playing the ukulele and piano. The first choice for his career was to be a veterinarian however, his brother Julian encouraged him to learn singing with an instructor from a Cuban instructor. It was the result that he realized his ability to sing and also altered the direction of his life.
