Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. At the age of five years old and moved to Oxfordshire and attended the Dragon School. Emma was only six when she made the decision to become an actress. She studied for a number of years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a full-time school of theatre in Oxford where she studied acting and singing. From the age of 10, she took part and played the leading role in a number of Stagecoach School plays and productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book began in 1999. Emma was found by agents through their Oxford teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone, and Ron Weasley told Emma after 8 auditions, that she had been selected for the parts. Emma was chosen to play alongside Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's cinematic screen debut. It broke all records in opening-day sales and opening-weekend takings as well as being the most-grossing feature in 2001. Critics gave high praise to the film and particularly the young performers. The Daily Telegraph, an influential British paper, called Emma's performances "amazing". Emma's performance was nominated and later won awards for the movie.
